Graphic Overlay (the top, printed panel with buttons)
Spacer / Adhesive Layer (with holes that define the switch areas)
Circuit Layers (flexible printed circuits with conductive inks, sometimes two layers)
Rear Adhesive Layer (to stick the whole assembly to a device like a medical instrument or control panel).
The laminating machine is responsible for assembling these layers with perfect registration (alignment) and without introducing bubbles, wrinkles, or contamination.
