Regarding to the event of the Japanese government's discharge of nuclear sewage into the sea causes Tokyo people rally against.
However, people's against can not stop government's decision that discharge nuclear waste water into the sea, and nearby country like Korea express that it's a pity that Japanese make that decision.
It reported that, in local time 13rd April in the morning, it was officially decided to discharge the nuclear waste water stored in the Tokyo Electric Power Company’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the sea.
Over the years, the discussion on nuclear waste water has ushered in a major node, but the residents of the disaster area and fishery related persons who have not yet fully recovered from the nuclear accident disaster have expressed serious concerns about the adverse effects of this practice. How to eliminate the negative impact and provide compensation will become the primary issue in the future.
It is reported that it will take about two years to carry out equipment construction work before the discharge of nuclear waste water begins. Since nuclear waste water contains radioactive material "tritium" that cannot be removed by current technical means, it needs to be diluted with seawater and discharged. If fishermen suffer losses due to negative impacts, Tokyo Electric Power Company will compensate them.
Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga expressed his intention to discharge pollutants into the sea during a meeting with the chairman of the Japanese National Fisheries Trade Union Federation on the 7th.
